Maurya Palace Mysore
Maurya Palace is a budget, no frills hotel in Mysore. The management also has another hotel in Mysore by the name of Maurya Residency. The rooms are categorized into standard, deluxe and suite rooms. The service is strictly ok and so are the rooms. As mentioned before, the hotel is good for those budget travelers who don’t want to spend much on their accommodation in Mysore.
However the reception staff and the other staff are quite warm and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel has a a central location in the city and has good value for money. Customer service could have been a little better such as house keeping which is a little on the slower side.
Room service is available 24 hours a day. All rooms have attached bathrooms with 24 hours hot and cold running water. The hotel is good for business travelers who have to come to the city to spend a day or two. Sight seeing and car rental can be arranged on request at the reception. If you want a safe deposit facility then you can contact the reception. Overall the hotel is quite ok for its price without the extra frills thrown in.
